Née en 1982, Aurélie Bauer vit et travaille à Paris. Diplômée en 2008 des Beaux-Arts de Paris, elle est lauréate du Prix Renoir en 2012. De 2010 à 2015, elle assiste le peintre français François Boisrond.
Pendant 12 ans, Aurélie Bauer travaille sur le rapport entre peinture et cinéma à travers le prisme du cadre et de la lumière. En 2022, elle oriente ses recherches et son travail sur une nouvelle série qui aborde les sujets de la transmission, de la maternité, de l’origine, du chaos, de l’ancrage ou encore de la migration.

Born in 1982, Aurélie Bauer lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2008 and won the Prix Renoir in 2012. From 2010 to 2015, she assisted French painter François Boisrond.
For 12 years, Aurélie Bauer has been working on the relationship between painting and cinema through the prism of framing and light. In 2022, she is focusing her research and work on a new series that addresses the themes of transmission, motherhood, origin, chaos, anchoring, and migration.
