Rebecca Brodskis est née en France en 1988, elle vit et travaille à Marseille.
Elle passe la majeure partie de son enfance à voyager et à vivre entre la France et le Maroc. Elle étudie la peinture aux ateliers des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris et au Collège d’art et de design Central St. Martins à Londres. Peu de temps après, elle travaille à New York en tant qu’assistante de l’artiste norvégien, Lars Laumann. Ayant toujours été attirée par les études théoriques, elle a terminé un Master en sociologie sur les thèmes de la vulnérabilité et de la crise sociale, avant de rentrer s’installer à Paris.
Son travail est une exploration par la peinture du rapport entre l'être et la matière et de l'impact du social sur l'individu.

Rebecca Brodskis was born in France in 1988 and lives and works in Marseille.
She spent most of her childhood traveling and living between France and Morocco. She studied painting at the Paris Fine Arts workshops and at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. Shortly afterwards, she worked in New York as an assistant to the Norwegian artist Lars Laumann. Having always been attracted to theoretical studies, she completed a Master's degree in sociology on the themes of vulnerability and social crisis before returning to Paris.
Her work is an exploration through painting of the relationship between being and matter and the impact of society on the individual.
